Wanneroo is a beautiful city located in the northern suburbs of Perth, Western Australia, and is home to many distinguished and famous people. Here are some of them:

1. Marcus Harris - Marcus Harris is an Australian cricketer who was born in Wanneroo. He has played for the Western Australia cricket team and is currently a member of the Victoria cricket team. Harris has also played for the Perth Scorchers in the Big Bash League.

2. Kim Hughes - Former Australian cricketer Kim Hughes also hails from Wanneroo. Hughes captained the Australian cricket team in the early 1980s and is considered one of Australia's finest batsmen.

3. Troy Buswell - Troy Buswell is a former Australian politician who represented the electoral district of Vasse in the Western Australian Legislative Assembly from 2005 to 2014. Buswell was also the Treasurer of Western Australia and the Minister for Commerce and Transport.

4. Josh Kennedy - Josh Kennedy is an Australian rules footballer who plays for the West Coast Eagles in the Australian Football League (AFL). Kennedy was born in Wanneroo and is a two-time Coleman Medalist for being the AFL's leading goal-kicker.

5. Trent Sainsbury - Trent Sainsbury is an Australian professional footballer who plays as a centre-back for the Australia national team and PSV Eindhoven in the Eredivisie. Sainsbury was born in Thornlie, but grew up in Wanneroo and attended Wanneroo Secondary College.

6. Fiona Wood - Fiona Wood is an Australian plastic surgeon who is known for her work in the treatment of burns. Wood was born in England but moved to Australia when she was young and grew up in Wanneroo. She was awarded the Australian of the Year award in 2005.

7. Tayla Harris - Tayla Harris is an Australian rules footballer who plays for the Carlton Football Club in the AFL Women's competition. Harris was born in Brisbane, but grew up in Wanneroo and attended Mercy College. She is also a professional boxer.

8. Tony McEvoy - Tony McEvoy is a prominent Australian horse trainer who has trained many Group 1 winners. McEvoy was born in Clare, South Australia, but grew up in Wanneroo and attended Wanneroo Senior High School.

9. Katrina Lee - Katrina Lee is an Australian professional golfer who has won several tournaments on the ALPG Tour. Lee was born in Perth and grew up in Wanneroo. She turned professional in 2012.

10. Phil Walsh - Phil Walsh was a former Australian rules footballer who played for several clubs in the AFL. Walsh also coached the Adelaide Football Club in the AFL before he tragically died in 2015. Walsh was born in Victoria, but spent his childhood in Wanneroo.
